Quantities

Butter or margarine 1/2 cup (at room temperature)
Sugar 1/2 cup
Honey 1/3 cup
Vanilla extract 1 1/2 teaspoons
Egg 1
Flour 2 cups
Salt 1/2 teaspoon

Preheat oven to 350. In a large bowl beat butter, sugar, honey and vanilla with an electric mixer, until well-blended. Beat in egg, flour and salt. Form dough into a ball, wrap in plastic and chill at least 3 hours or until firm enough to roll out. To cut out and bake biscuits, roll half of the dough, on a lightly-floured surface, -inch thick. (Make sure dough is cold while you are working with it.) Cut into desired shapes and place one-inch apart on baking sheets. Decorate with sprinkles, sugar, nuts, etc. Bake approximately 10 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Cool on wire racks. Store in airtight containers. Makes a little over 2 dozen 2 inch cookies.
