Meat Loaf

Microwaved!

Quantities

Beef 500 grams ground
Onion 1 medium finely chopped
Milk 1/3 cup
Egg 1
Bread crumbs 1/2 cup
Worchestershire sauce dash
Soy sauce dash
Garlic powder 1/2 tsp.
Tomato sauce 1/4 cup
Water 1/4 cup
Honey 1/3 cup
Mustard 1/2 tsp.

Combine first 8 ingredients in 1 quart casserole dish. Pat gently. Microwave, uncovered, on medium-high for 5 minutes.

Combine tomato sauce, water, honey and mustard. Mix well.

Drain grease from meatloaf.

Pour tomato sauce mixture over meatloaf.

Microwave on medium-high for 2-4 minutes, or until meatloaf is no longer pink.

(Place a custard cup, inverted, in the center of your dish and pat the meatloaf around it. The meatloaf will cook more evenly and the grease will collect under the custard cup.)
